We are a well-known Healthcare group with reliable, dedicated, and professional staff. We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and mental health issues.

Rehability UK specializes in supporting adults with complex needs (including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disability, and Mental Health) to live their best possible life. We strive to provide friendly, professional, and inspirational services that we would want to experience ourselves.

We are looking to hire support workers for our multiple locations in Devon (EX39, EX34, EX13, EX14, EX16, TQ14, TQ1, TQ1, EX8, Paignton, EX7, EX20).

Your Role

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. By understanding the needs of the people you support, you will provide exceptional care that can change their lives. Your role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Helping people we support to engage in meaningful activities and opportunities, empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with unforgettable experiences.
  • Getting involved in community support, such as social activities or shopping trips.
  • Communicating effectively, considering individual communication needs, and helping people communicate with others.
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
  • Administering medication (if required).
  • Supporting with meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and planning daily activities.
  • Supporting attendance at medical appointments.
  • Assisting with social activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience with complex needs, mental health, autism, or learning disabilities, as per service requirements.
  • Male or female, depending on service requirements, and ideally a driver.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Team player.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
