Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for day shifts at Oak House in Diss. You will provide person-centred support with daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities to help residents live with dignity and independence.

We offer training, development pathways, a contributory pension and relocation support up to £3,000 where applicable. This full-time, permanent role requires empathy, resilience and a commitment to professional standards.

Full Time - 42hrs - Working every other weekend is required.

Oak House is a residential service set back off the main road into Diss, Norfolk. We support up to six adults who are on the autism spectrum, and may have complex needs.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and resilient Support Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support, helping the people we support to live with dignity, independence, choice and purpose.

As a key worker, you will support individuals with daily living, personal care, activities and community involvement, while helping them achieve their personal goals and live their best lives. No two days are the same, and your empathy and resilience will be essential in supporting people through both the highs and lows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred personal care and daily living support.
• Promote choice, independence and involvement.
• Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.
• Encourage participation in activities and community life.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate care records, plans and daily notes.
