A housing organization in Northern Ireland is hiring for a full-time care/support role at Daleview House. Job description
Overview

LOCATION: Daleview House, L' Derry

POSITION: 1x40hrs and Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Full Time/Part Time for our Housing with Care Schemes in Derr~Londonderry

Daleview House provides older persons supported living accommodation giving support and care for up to 13 Housing with Care Tenants. It is situated in the Waterside area of Derry~Londonderry. Daleview House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities include providing care and support to Housing with Care tenants, delivering person-centred assistance, and ensuring a safe and maintainable living environment with 24-hour staff support throughout the year.

Essential Criteria
  • QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • 6 months experience in a formal care/support role working with vulnerable adults
  • Must be currently registered with NISCC or must achieve registration within 6 months
  • Previous experience in administrative duties
  • Or 2 years of experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Must be willing to work towards completion of QCF Level 2 Health & Social Care

*Formal Care / Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carers' Allowance. Formal Care / Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting.
