We are seeking a reliable, caring and organised Support Worker/Personal Assistant to provide practical support to a parent in Croydon. This role is centred around assisting with parental responsibilities and light household tasks, helping to maintain a smooth and well-structured daily routine. A key part of the position involves supporting with school runs to Aerodrome Primary School, Monday to Friday. This includes taking the children to school in the morning and collecting them in the afternoon. The successful candidate will be punctual, dependable and confident supporting children in a safe and professional manner. In addition to school runs, the role includes providing practical assistance within the home. Support will be required with washing and dressing, laundry duties and changing bedding. There will also be light domestic tasks such as surface cleaning and loading items into the dishwasher to help maintain a clean and comfortable living environment. These duties are spread across the week and total approximately five sessions of 1 hour and 15 minutes each. Some support will also be needed with warming up and serving food, amounting to approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes per week. The ideal candidate will be attentive, respectful of the family's routines, and able to work independently while maintaining clear and open communication. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, patient and compassionate, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting both childcare responsibilities and household organisation. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, although reliability and a caring nature are equally important.
