Job summary

Kingston Centre For Independent Living in South Croydon is seeking a friendly PA / Support Worker / Cleaner to assist a 49-year-old woman. The role is part-time, 6 hours per week, ideally split into two visits.

You will provide practical help around the home, including cleaning, basic meal preparation, and occasional personal care such as showering and dressing, handling tasks with kindness and respect to promote independence.

The role is for 6 hours per week, ideally spread across two visits per week. The exact days and times are flexible and can be discussed and agreed with CRO-YDI.

The main part of the role will involve providing practical support around the home, including cleaning and general household tasks, as well as occasional cooking or meal preparation.

There will also be some occasional personal care support, such as helping with showering and getting dressed. It is therefore important that you are comfortable providing personal care when required and can do so in a respectful and sensitive way.

We are looking for someone who is kind, dependable, patient and respectful, and who understands the importance of supporting someone to remain as independent as possible in their own home.
