Support Worker

Location: Cramlington

Salary: up to £13 per hour

Hours: Flexible working hours available

Organization: Brainkind, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK.

About the Role: Working with physically disabled adults with complex needs at a purpose-built unit in Cramlington, Northumberland, supporting individuals in gaining independence and engaging in community activities such as swimming, cinema, sports, and concerts. Full and part-time roles available.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support following individual support plans
  • Assist individuals in accessing community activities
  • Support individuals to meet their personal goals and develop independence
  • Work in accordance with Brainkind's values: agile, resourceful, courageous, connected, and compassionate
  • Participate in a 4-week rota including evenings and weekends
  • Personal Care is a requirement
