A care service provider in Ferndown is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with acquired brain injuries. The role includes supporting daily routines, teaching life skills, and providing personal care. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Candidates should be over 18, and military personnel are encouraged to apply.
We will also work closely with people placed on rehabilitation-focused placements supported by neuro therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, and neuropsychologists to aid in their recovery. Our multidisciplinary team will undertake a thorough assessment prior to any admission, working closely with the individual, their family, carers, and other healthcare professionals to identify their goals and aspirations and create an individually tailored support plan.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:
