Location: Belfast and Lisburn
Salary: £13.57-£15.33
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Shift work
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (additional allowance provided)
About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties, helping them to develop life skills, confidence, and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people.
Support daily routines including meals, education, and activities.
Promote emotional well-being and respond to challenging behaviour constructively.
Ensure the safety and welfare of each child, in line with care plans and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Work closely with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals.
About You:
6 months Experience working with children or young people
A genuine passion for helping vulnerable children and young people.
Registered with NISCC
Willingness to complete Enhanced Access NI
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Strong communication and teamworking skills.
