Job description

Support Worker – Swansea – Full time – 40.25 hours a week - £11.60 to £12.50 an hour

We’re a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.

Cartref Mynydd is located near the scenic Gower Peninsula, known for its beaches, cliffs, and coastal villages. Residents often enjoy activities like hiking, swimming, trampolining, cinema visits, and beach trips.

A day at Cartref Mynydd includes:

  • Personalizing support to meet individual needs;
  • Maintaining accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a compassionate and caring nature with a desire to make a positive impact;
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Are resilient and patient, adaptable to individual needs;
  • Are willing to learn and follow team guidance;
  • Have basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication;
  • Are flexible to work shifts, including weekends and occasional nights;
  • Driving license is advantageous but not essential.

Note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
