Job Description:

Support Workers provide a support service to the Therapeutic Treatment Programme, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment is maintained. The role involves offering support and care by facilitating open and collaborative conversations that can help Service Users discover alternative solutions to substance use difficulties.

  • Grade C GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • At least one year’s experience working in a supportive environment with adults experiencing Mental Health difficulties
  • Experience of maintaining electronic records
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
  • Registration or willingness to register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council
  • Willingness to work within the ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and Carlisle House, i.e., respect, acceptance, and compassion
