We are a large Care company that still manages to maintain that warm family feel, with great support networks including regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring for our staff. We keep our homes small for that personal touch and to ensure a person-centred approach for each person that lives with us. We encourage feedback from staff to allow us to continue to grow as a care company and remain connected with the staff who provide the hands-on care that we provide.

We aim to support the people that live with us to do so as independently as possible. Providing great training opportunities for our staff to ensure they have all the skills needed to assist the residents to live a safe, structured, and fulfilling lifestyle.

Whitehaven is a registered care home with 11 beds and currently has 11 residents receiving support from our friendly, kind staff team. We would love you to join the team.

We are looking to hire committed and compassionate staff to join our friendly, professional team, whether you have experience or not. We will offer NVQ upon passing probation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our staff support adults with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment, including supporting with daily living skills, personal care, community-based activities, and working with some behaviours which may present as challenging.

Our clients require care 24/7; therefore, weekend work is required but shared to give some free weekend time, ensuring our clients always receive the support they need. Shift patterns are 12-hour shifts. We can offer part-time contracts with the opportunity of an enhanced rate over time, although this is not mandatory.
