Do you want to leave work every day feeling like you have made a difference? Made someone’s day? Do you want to feel valued and make others feel the same? If so, Allied Care is the opportunity you have been looking for. Ashington House is waiting to hear from you.

We are a large care company that maintains a warm family feel, with strong support networks including regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring for our staff. We keep our homes small for that personal touch and to ensure a person-centered approach for each resident. We encourage staff feedback to help us grow and stay connected with those providing hands-on care.

Our goal is to support residents to live as independently as possible, providing great training opportunities to ensure staff have the skills needed to assist our residents in living safe, structured, and fulfilling lives.

Ashington House is a registered care home with 6 beds, currently housing 6 residents supported by our friendly, kind staff team. We would love you to join us.

We are looking to hire committed and compassionate staff to join our friendly, professional team, regardless of experience. Applicants with NVQ 2 and experience are welcomed, but if you're eager to make a positive impact and have no experience, we still want to hear from you. Full training will be provided, and NVQ will be offered upon passing probation.

Responsibilities include supporting adults with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities, assisting with daily living skills, personal care, community activities, and managing some challenging behaviors.

Our clients require 24/7 care; therefore, weekend work is necessary but shared to give some free weekends. Shift patterns are 12 hours on a 36-hour contract.

Driving is an advantage but not essential.
