Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to individuals according to their support plans.
Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility as needed.
Support daily living activities such as meals, shopping, cleaning and household tasks.
Monitor and report changes in an individual's wellbeing to the appropriate person.
Follow individual care and support plans at all times.

Job description

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working in a care, support, healthcare, or similar environment is desirable.

Basic knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.

Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.

Desirable

Previous experience supporting adults, elderly people, people with disabilities, or individuals with additional support needs.

Relevant Health and Social Care qualification.

Training in moving and handling.

Medication administration training.

First aid or basic life support training.

A valid driving licence, where the role requires travelling between locations or supporting individuals in the community.
