Buckie Support Workers (Full & Part Time)

Salary: £23,150.16 pro rata per year (25/26 Pay Award Pending)

Full-time hours: 37-40 hours/week

Part-time hours: 30 hours/week

Ark Buckie supports 19 individuals to live independently at home, with support ranging from 16 hours to 24 hours per week. Shift patterns are variable to meet individual needs, supporting ages 18-70+ with activities such as personal care, medication, finances, meal prep, appointments, household tasks, and community access.

Activities include outings like lunch, bowling, swimming, sports, family time, and holidays. Many supported individuals have mobility cars, increasing community engagement. We aim to help achieve personal goals, such as employment or new activities, and organize community events like discos and BBQs.

This role involves sleepover shifts, early morning starts, and late finishes. Sleepovers include working during the day, sleeping over in the service between 11pm-7am, and working again the next day, paid at an additional £96 per sleepover.

Note: Due to the support of individuals with complex needs, personal care and medication administration are required in this role.
