Keys Group is recruiting a full-time Support Worker for Brookside Avenue in Loughborough (LE12).

You will support three adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, covering days and nights to promote independence and health maintenance. DBS is paid by the employer, with access to QCF qualifications and a full induction program for career development.

About Brookside Avenue:

At Brookside Avenue we support 3 adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Needs.

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder into more senior positions

As aSupport Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
