Job description

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Bank Support Worker.
Regents Park is a residential service for 7 individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory needs.
Regents Park has been providing specialist residential support in Exeter, Devon, since 2016. The service is home to seven residents, many of whom have built strong bonds over the years. Regents Park is a lovely traditional building with easy access to the local community, including shops, leisure activities, and even the beautiful Devon coastline.

What you’ll be doing:
• Providing proactive, flexible, positive, and caring support to adults living in our service.
• Enabling and supporting people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
• Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
• Working effectively as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Will be a part of developing and implementing person centred care plans.
• Supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Personal care.
• Bank Hours – varied shifts between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm.
Who you are:
• The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
• Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Motivated and a team player.
• Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism is preferred, but not essential.
• Drivers preferred but not essential.
