Up to £26748 per annum + Pension, Training

Full Time Permanent, with generous salary plus benefits!

Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity as a Support Worker to help provide support to adults with learning and physical disabilities and complex needs? Would you like to join a team where you are offered excellent training and support?

Working for an established provider of care and support to adults with profound learning and physical disabilities, you would be working for an organisation that puts people at the centre of all they do.

The role:

  • Providing excellent effective care and support to adults with profound learning disability and complex needs at residential services near Chorley.
  • Assist in the care of all people being support to ensure they are provided with the highest quality of care and support with their daily living skills in residential and supported living environments.
  • Promote independent living skills and working in a person-centred way
  • Action and work with all care and support plans tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Support with personal care needs where required.

About You:

  • You will be a positive, proactive and passionate person who has the desire to want to support vulnerable adults with learning disability and complex needs.
  • You will work in a person-centred way and ideally have experience of working in the social care sector preferably in a similar setting
  • Your flexible approach to work will be key and be able to work between the hours of 8am -22.00 Monday to Sunday working occasional weekends.
  • Ideally you will be a car driver with access to your own vehicle.
  • You will be an excellent communicator with good organisational and team playing skills.
