Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to assist a male client in Liskeard who uses a wheelchair and lives independently. You’ll support daily living, personal care, and social activities as part of a small care team.

Shifts are 24 hours from 9am to 9am on a flexible zero-hours contract, including a daytime period and a sleep-in. Pay up to £13.50 per hour plus a £75 sleep night rate, with DBS check, induction training, holiday pay and Nest pension.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting someone with complex care needs.
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts including sleep-in.
• Ability to drive and navigate locally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care
• Support client with mobility and transfers
• Encourage social activities and community outings
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain routines and continuity.
