Job description

Balfor Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our client’s well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with young adults and adults who require support in their daily lives.

Job Details:

Location: Peterborough

Rate: £13 – £14 per hour

Hours: Various shifts available to suit your schedule

Contract Type: Temporary; On-Going

About the Role:

You will be supporting young adults and adults with communication, mobility, and additional health needs, ensuring they can lead full and active lives. Activities may include accompanying them on community outings, assisting with daily routines, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Support individuals in their homes and community settings.
  • Engage in activities such as park visits, hydrotherapy sessions, and social outings.
  • Ensure the dignity and independence of service users are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience in health & social care

Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is a plus.
