We are looking for Support Workers with a passion to work with our fantastic teams in our Lynx Centre. Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people, but if not, we offer a comprehensive training program to help you start a fulfilling career.

Your working pattern will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, including evening and weekend work.

We are seeking someone with woodworking skills to support adults in our woodwork department, helping them learn new craft skills and knowledge.

This is a part-time position, 22.50 hours per week, with an annual salary of £14,285.70.

The role includes:

  • Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
  • Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
  • Developing individuals' homemaking skills and personal chores
  • Transforming lives and achieving results for autistic adults

We need you to be resilient, supportive, and sensitive to the needs of autistic people. Working as a support worker requires passion, patience, and commitment, but offers immense personal rewards.

Possession of a driving license (minimum one year) is preferred.

All staff are required to undergo criminal background checks to protect our autistic adults. An Enhanced DBS Check, either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months, is preferable but not essential.
