Job summary

Avalon Group in Northallerton is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Support Workers. You will help people to live fulfilling, independent lives, assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, finances and medication administration where needed.

We offer full-time and part-time roles across Northallerton with training from our in-house team and opportunities to gain lifelong skills. A valid UK driving license is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to support individuals with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Knowledge of medicines administration is referenced as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Day support: 1:1 assistance at a local day service, typically 9am-3pm with weekend rotation.
• Supported Living: help people in their homes to develop independence and participate in activities.
• Sleepover and 24-hour support: shifts including nights in Supported Living services.
