Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd in Gwynedd is hiring a Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week) in Y Felinheli, with evenings, weekends and sleep-ins included.

The position requires Welsh language ability, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to high-quality care with full training provided.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in Welsh is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Support individuals to access activities, appointments, and the local community.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • Participate in a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

Support Worker

Location: Y Felinheli, Gwynedd
Pay: £13.45 per hour plus £62.64 sleep-in allowance
Hours: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, rota-based)

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:

About You

No previous care experiences? No problem. Full training and a comprehensive induction programme will be provided.

Essential Requirements
