Job description

A great new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional residential care home based in the Worthing, West Sussex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.


This service is registered to provide residential care for people with a range of complex health needs, including people living with a learning disability.


To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.


Key Duties:
  1. Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks.
  2. Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions.
  3. Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the service.
  4. Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Strong communication skills.
  2. Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
  3. Effective decision making and judgement.
  4. Strong planning and organisation skills.
  5. Achieves all Health & Safety standards.

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP11.50 per hour and the annual salary is GBP22,425 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
