Job summary

Voyage Care in Worksop is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help people gain independence in their daily lives, working within a supportive, hands-on team. Typical shifts are evenings and nights 20:00–08:00, four shifts per week with alternate weekends.

• Help people gain more independence in daily living as part of a dynamic team.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community engagement.

• Participate in activities with residents, including games and leisure time.

Job description

Support Worker – Worksop - £13.64 ph

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 20:00 - 08:00 working 4 shifts a week including alternate weekends

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Worksop is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
