Overview

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service in Winnersh is a welcoming and friendly environment. You can be sure that no two days will be the same as you help teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage access to local communities, socialise and take part in activities.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

Responsibilities
  • Help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
  • Teach and develop life skills.
  • Assist with personal care as required.
  • Encourage people to access their local communities, socialise, and participate in activities.
  • Engage in activities such as art, sports, beauty therapy, courses, swimming, biking, and other activities that support personal growth and wellbeing.
  • Support individuals to achieve their goals and build confidence and independence.
Shifts

Shifts: 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm, 9pm-7am. A mixture of these shifts is required.
