Job summary

Routes to Work is seeking Support Workers in Wishaw to help people live independently in the community. You’ll provide daily living support and personal care, working as part of a compassionate team in home and community settings.

We offer zero-hour contracts with flexible full-time or part-time hours, plus training, a pension scheme and wellbeing support. You’ll be supported to develop life skills while maintaining dignity and respect for service users.

Qualifications

  • Provide person-centred care promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene and medication.
  • Organise daily routines and accompany service users to appointments and activities.

  • Support with hobbies and interests including arts and crafts, gardening and sports.
  • Encourage engagement in social visits to restaurants, pubs and local events.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.

Contract: Zero-hour contract. Full Time & Part time hours available

We provide housing and care services across the UK, with a strong focus on supported living. We’re currently looking for Support Workers in Wishaw and nearby areas to join our team and support service users in the community!

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll help people live independently by supporting them with daily tasks, personal care and social activities at home and in the community. You’ll be part of a caring team that treats every individual with respect and compassion.
