At Vesuvio, every day is a chance to make a genuine difference in someone's life. You'll be supporting five wonderful people, one woman and four men aged between their 50s and 70s, each with their own personalities, preferences and ways of experiencing the world. The people you support live with a range of physical disabilities, learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex health needs, and rely on a dedicated team to help them live their lives with dignity, comfort and choice.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll provide personalised support with daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, medication and mealtimes. More importantly, you'll take the time to build meaningful relationships, understand what matters to each person, and support them to enjoy life in ways that are important to them.
The role could involve supporting someone to enjoy a trip to a local café, country park or community event, while another might be spent enjoying music, sensory activities, gardening, arts and crafts, baking, or helping someone pursue a favourite hobby. You'll celebrate achievements, encourage independence and create opportunities for fun, connection and new experiences.
You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that works closely together to provide outstanding care. If you're compassionate, reliable and believe everyone deserves a great life, we'd love to hear from you.
Shifts include 7am–2pm and 3pm–10pm with weekend working.
