Overview

Support Worker | Hailsham / Eastbourne | Full Time / Part Time / Bank - Competitive Salary

Jemini Response offers residential care across four homes in Eastbourne and Hailsham, providing holistic care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are now looking for full-time, Part-time and Bank Support Workers.

Candidates from both Eastbourne and Hailsham are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support staff are required to work as part of a team providing a flexible range of support for individuals with Autism and learning disabilities: Focus is on choice, empowerment, and dignity in care, PBS culture development, improving life chances, and creating opportunities. Community based - assessing leisure and recreational facilities.
  • Assisting in the promotion of high standards of care to meet individuals' needs
  • Following and implementing care plans for individuals in accordance with assessed needs
  • Delivery of agreed programmes of intervention for individuals who may prevent behaviours that may challenge and/or particular vulnerabilities, coordinating with other involved agencies as required
  • To assist in the day-to-day running of the home, i.e., cooking, shopping, cleaning, gardening, etc, involving the residents to their maximum ability
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience or interest in supporting individuals with Autism and learning disabilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
