Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a boutique care home delivering residential and nursing care with a therapy room and cafe.

The role is permanent full time, 36 hours per week on day shifts. You will provide compassionate personal care, support daily activities, and work as part of a team to maintain excellent standards. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Previous care sector experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

A new job opportunity has become available for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Walton-on-Thames, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent**

As the Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience of working in a care setting

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on day shifts.
