We are seeking a caring and compassionate Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes in Wakefield, Leeds, and Bradford. As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will work closely with clients to assist with their daily living needs, promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
  2. Assist with medication administration, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  3. Promote clients' independence and well-being, encouraging them to maintain their daily routines and activities.
  4. Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, using hoists and equipment as required.
  5. Maintain accurate records of client care and communication with the care team.
  6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and care staff.
  7. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Level 2 or 3 NVQ / Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Care Certificate.
  2. Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a domiciliary care environment.
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  6. Basic life support training (or willingness to obtain).
  7. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
  8. Valid driver's license (for some roles).
