Vacancy Information

The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78

This is a 52-week non-sessional post, including working during school holidays.

Days And Hours Of Work

• Monday & Tuesday: 10:00-14:00
• Wednesday: 13:00-18:00
• Thursday: 08:00-18:00
• Friday: 08:00-13:00

Start date: 11th August 2025.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications

• Good standard of general education.
• SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 6 or an SSSC recognized equivalent. If not obtained, commitment to achieve it within the registration period.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain it.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to gain it.
• SSSC registration or agreement to register within 6 months of appointment.

This post is considered a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. All candidates will need to become or update PVG Scheme members prior to employment. Records are regularly updated, and disclosures will be discussed and investigated before a formal offer.
