Job summary

Salutem Care and Education in Dudley is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality, enabling care for adults with learning disabilities.

You will implement person-centred support plans, promote independence, plan activities, manage health needs, and maintain detailed records in collaboration with the team.

A UK Driving Licence is required for this role, and we value compassionate, proactive individuals who communicate well and work reliably within our safety-focused environment.

44 Sedgley Road is a 3-bed supported living service in Dudley providing support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live a healthy, happy and active life in a way of their choosing!

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

Please note - You must have to have a UK Driving License for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
  • - Activity Planning: Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
  • - Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
  • - Communication: Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.
  • - Medication Management: Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration.
