Support Worker
Location: Supported Living Home, Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £11.75 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week, 3 shifts on / 3 shifts off
Shift Pattern: 8am to 8pm (Days) or 8pm to 8am (Nights)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide tailored, person-centered care and support to residents.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Foster independence by encouraging participation in community activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
  • Support residents in managing challenging behaviours with patience and positivity.
  • Promote emotional well-being, building trust and strong relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and empathetic approach.
  • Flexibility to work a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern, with 8am-8pm day shifts or 8pm-8am night shifts.
  • Previous experience in care or support roles is an advantage but not essential - full training provided.
  • A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and choice for every resident.
