Job summary

Priory Group in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Support Worker to join our Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers team at Strathmore House. The role is permanent full-time, 30 hours per week, paying £13.45 per hour, based at Strathmore House, Dresden area, near Queens Park.

You will support residents with daily living, participate in personalised care plans, and help residents achieve personal outcomes, while maintaining records and promoting dignity and safety in line with policies.

Qualifications

  • Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
  • Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.

30 hours per week

Strathmore House is nestled in Dresden, Stoke-on-Trent. It offers residential support for 14 males and females who are autistic or have a learning disability. Strathmore House is opposite Queens Park, a large park with lakes and a café, near to Trentham Gardens.

Our team are dedicated to supporting our residents to be as independent as possible and live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
