Job summary

Retain Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalised support in a supported living setting near Chippenham, Wiltshire. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and community participation, while promoting independence and self-advocacy.

Experience with disabilities is preferred. A valid driving license and vehicle access are essential, and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalised support to individuals, ensuring their well-being and safety.
• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
• Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided via Digital Care Planning.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care.

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personalised support to individuals, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
• PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable but not essential as all training will be given
