Gray Healthcare is recruiting a team of mental health support workers within the Salford area of Manchester to support a gentleman in his 40s with Organic Personality Disorder and dysarthria, resulting from brain injury. He lives independently and receives 2:1 support 24 hours a day. The individual has a good sense of humour, enjoys fitness and the gym, and is a Manchester United football fan. Support will be provided by a male-only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. We are recruiting drivers only for this role, as the individual has access to a mobility vehicle for community access.
Options include:
Initial week of online training covering company induction, systems, and medication. Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK, a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, an effective alternative to restraint. Additional person-centred training specific to the individual supported. Ongoing training and career development are encouraged.
Gray Healthcare is a specialist provider supporting people with complex needs, disabilities, and long-term conditions, helping them transition from inpatient services to community living. We offer a bespoke, multidisciplinary approach to enable individuals to regain control of their lives, tailored to current and future needs.
