Responsibilities

• Live within Northern suburbs of Melbourne such as Preston, Thomastown, Reservoir and Fawkner
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday – but we are flexible for the right person
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start
• Travel is required for training
• Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What this role offers

• Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates
• Permanent Part-Time contracts
• Permanent Contract hours: 20-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
• Hourly Rate: $30.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You'll Be Doing

• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation
• Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients
• Most importantly: be a friendly face and brighten someone's day

As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role for both entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.
