Job summary

CareTech is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Clock Tower Free service in Potters Bar. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living tasks, and help residents participate in activities to promote independence and wellbeing.

No prior experience is required as full training and a structured induction programme are provided. DBS checks are required, and the role involves working a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Our friendly Clocktower Mews Service in Potters Bar Herts provides care and support for individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
