Responsibilities
  • As a Support Worker, work closely with the people we support to understand their needs, goals, and preferences, providing personalised support to help them live active, fulfilling, and valued lives each day.
  • Ensure physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Provide support during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, confidence, and celebrate achievements and milestones.
  • Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when facing challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • Willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • This role involves regulated activity with adults and will require an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
