Job summary

National Care Group Limited in Peterlee is recruiting a Support Worker to join Essential Care and Support Limited. The role offers 30 hours per week with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will build positive relationships, help plan daily activities, assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and medication support, and enable individuals to become more independent. Paid training, opportunities to gain recognised qualifications, and a supportive, inclusive team culture are provided to help

  • Plan and participate in activities and days out to promote independence.
  • Support individuals to become more independent wherever possible.

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited - Peterlee

Essential Care and Support is a part of the NationalCare Group and is a dedicated specialist in providing person centred care across our supported living, outreach and day services. We support some incredible individuals with a range of support needs including Mental Health, Dementia, Physical Disabilities and Elderly care. The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.

  • You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
  • You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
  • You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
  • You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.

  • A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
  • A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
