Graduate Teaching Assistant

Area: Northampton

Salary: £95-120 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours of work: Full Time or Part Time

Start date: September 2025

Monarch Education are recruiting Graduates or current university students to take on a range of Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor roles in schools within the Kettering Area. Experience working in school is not a necessity, just a willingness to learn and take on a new challenge!

Applicants should have experience working with young people in any capacity, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Teacher, Scout/Guide Leader ect. We are looking for people who want to transfer their skills into a Teaching Assistant or Academic Coach Role. The role is a fantastic opportunity for people considering a career in teaching and could be the first step to starting your career in education!

Requirements Of The Candidate

  • Experience working with young people
  • A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment
  • The ability to adapt to an ever changing workload
  • The readiness to learn and take on a new challenge
