Voyage Care in North Petherton is seeking a caring Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily life within a friendly residential service.

You’ll assist with personal care, encourage community involvement, and enjoy varied days with activities from visiting local pubs to home cinema nights, all while working as part of a supportive team; DBS checks apply.

Job description

Support Worker – North Petherton - £13.18 per hour plus enhancements weekends and evenings -37.5 hours a week

Shifts are: 08:00 - 20:30 Long days x 3 to include at least 1 sleep in

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in North Petherton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
