Job summary

Apex Prime Care is seeking Care Assistants to support clients at home in Newbury and surrounding areas. Roles include mornings, days, evenings and nights with every other weekend off and flexible hours. Driving licence with own vehicle is preferred and mileage is paid within the hourly rate.

DBS check is required and care training will be provided to enhance your career. We offer part-time and full-time positions with a strong focus on wellbeing, career development through the Care Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing.
• Manage medications as directed by care plans.
• Cook or prepare hot meals and help with domestic tasks.
• Provide companionship, reassurance and joy to clients.
• Support clients in their home and community activities.

The stated rate of pay is for Support Workers with a driving licence and own vehicle and includes mileage and travel time in the hourly rate. Those on walking rota's will receive an adjusted pay rate.

Shifts available include mornings, days, evenings and nights - you'll usually have every other weekend off for work-life balance.
