A leading healthcare provider in Morpeth is seeking a part-time support worker. In this role, you will engage service users in activities and personal care, and administer medication. Ideal candidates will have experience in a care setting, particularly with individuals with learning disabilities. This position offers flexible shifts and a competitive salary package related to public service standards.
We are looking for a support worker to join our team at Sea Lodge. Duties will include engaging the service users in activities, personal care, household duties, administration of medication and supporting service users to access the community.
This is a part time (25 hours), permanent position. NCC Band 4 salary pro rata'd £17,839 - £19,014.
There is a requirement to work days (typically 12.5 hour shifts from 07.45 to 20.15) and night shifts (typically 12 hour shifts from 20.00 to 08.00) on a rotational basis.
The successful candidate should have experience in a care setting, desirably with people with a learning disability and behaviours of concern, and should be flexible to the needs of the service and service users.

Opened in 2006, Northumberland Supported Living Service (Sea Lodge) is a CQC registered service, currently rated as Good, which provides nurse led support to two adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Service users have secured tenancy agreements and live in a large, adapted bungalow within its own grounds overlooking a private beach in Northumberland.
