Job summary

The CareTech Group is seeking compassionate support staff to assist individuals with complex needs in a residential setting. In this role, you will help implement support plans, maintain communication with service users, and assist with daily living tasks. The position offers comprehensive training and opportunities for development, along with flexibility in shift patterns to support both weekday and weekend needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting individuals in a caregiving setting is preferred.
  • Completion of Care Certificate Standards training will be provided.
  • Applicants with less experience can join via Apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans.
  • Maintain communication with Service Users and their families.
  • Support Service Users with daily living activities including meal preparation.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • In this role you will participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
  • You will maintain effective communication and liaison with the Service Users, Families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
  • Supporting Service Users with preparation of their meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
