Job summary

Voyage Care in Warsop is seeking caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain more independence and enjoy daily activities.

You will work as part of a team, supporting with personal care, promoting community participation, and taking part in varied activities from evenings in pubs to cinema outings. DBS checks and references are required for offers.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is welcome but not required.
• A genuine caring attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team.

Support Worker - Warsop - £12.84ph

Typical Shifts are: Days - 7.30am till 2.30pm and 2.30pm till 9.30pm or long days 7.30am till 9.30pm. Candidates will also be required to cover Waking nights 21:30 to 07:30 shifts too.

Our residential service in Warsop is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
