FitzRoy is seeking compassionate and proactive Support Workers to join our dedicated team in the Mansfield area. We support individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs—helping them live independently in their own homes and out in the community.
You’ll be providing vital support across our services in the Mansfield area, stepping in where needed to ensure continuity of care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
Promoting independence and personal choice for the people we support
Assisting with daily living activities – cooking, cleaning, personal care, and household tasks
Supporting people to enjoy days out, attend appointments, or even go on holiday
Planning and facilitating fun and meaningful activities in the home and community
Helping individuals develop life skills and explore their personal interests
Ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping
What We’re Looking For:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential
Willingness to work flexibly between 07:00 and 22:00 (full-time hours)
A caring, patient, and respectful approach to support
Experience is welcome but not required – we’ll provide full training
