Servoca Nursing & Care is a leading healthcare recruitment agency within the UK, providing temporary and permanent roles for Nurses, Care Assistants, and Support/Child Support workers throughout the UK. We are recruiting for fun, passionate, but dedicated temporary Child Support workers to work in the following areas:

• South London
• Streatham

The Children’s Support Workers role involves working with some of the UK’s most vulnerable children suffering from emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD). You will need the ability to attend to their practical, physical, and emotional needs, act as an appropriate role model, and work closely with them to help address their difficulties and achieve their potential.

• Maintain a high quality of care and support that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of children and young people within the care of Inspirations.
• Provide a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment where children/young people can feel secure and free from harm.
• Establish positive relationships with young people, offering unconditional and positive regard.
• Help young people gain self-control by challenging unacceptable behavior and rewarding acceptable, pro-social conduct.
• Follow and update each young person’s care plan to reflect their changing needs.
• Attend to practical childcare matters (cooking, cleaning, general maintenance).
• Build positive, warm, and rewarding relationships perceived as such by young people.
• Offer advice, assistance, and support on a 1:1 basis to help young people address past and present difficulties.
• Provide emotional support during times of difficulty or stress.
