Job summary

Priority Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a young boy with brain injury and epilepsy in his own home. The role involves a 3:1 care package including support with executive functioning, rehabilitation and working with wider therapy teams.

You will help with appointments, social activities and daily routines including university outings, and you will join a team that supports a chatty, outgoing client.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with complex conditions (brain injury, cerebral palsy, epilepsy).
• Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic) and ability to drive a WAV.
• Experience working with MDTs, therapists and psychologists.

Responsibilities

Pay rate: £15.00 PAYE + holiday pay

Job Type: Monday-Friday mornings 9am-12pm (scope to increase in future)

Must: Drive (UK licence - manual or automatic)

Experienced Complex Support Worker in the Liverpool area.

Successful Applicant

• Previous experience working with adults with complex conditions (e.g. brain injury, cerebral palsy, epilepsy)
• Experience in brain injury rehabilitation would be desirable
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (manual or automatic) and be confident to drive a WAV
• Experience working with wider teams including MDTs, therapists and psychologists
