Reach your full potential and join our adult support living services as a Support Worker based in Lenzie and Kirkintilloch.

Your new opportunity

Quarriers Adult Support Living Services located in East Dunbartonshire is recruiting part time Support Workers offering between 20-30 hours per week. The services support 4 adults within their own home to thrive and live independently while achieving their goals and ambitions.

As a Support Work you will promote a positive safe environment, build trusting long lasting relationships with the people supported and ensure their personal needs at met daily. You will play a key part in assisting them with their day to day lives and supporting them with activities and hobbies they enjoy. The care for each person is adapted therefore no two days are the same and a person-centred approach is essential.

Working pattern: Rota's are available 4/6 weeks in advance with day and night working. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support 24/7.

What you will need to bring to the role

  • A genuine caring nature who will put peoples needs first
  • Aligned values and willing to learn and build trusting relationships.
  • Understanding and empathy to support individuals.
  • Driving licence is desirable as some of the people supported have their own vehicle which allows them to get out and about.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts/hours based on the people we support needs.
  • Willing to work towards recognised qualifications which will be support via our Quarriers Training Academy.
